Description
The Daily Overview tab provides an overview of the WiFi access on campus via WAP devices over a specified date range. Users may customize their searches using the 4 selections. Based on the user's selection, the main panel will display a bar plot showing the total number of users or devices for every day during the selected date range.
Functionality
Input Selection
Users customize their searches using the following 4 selections:
- View the WiFi access via user count or device count
- Refine their searches by only selecting from specific building types
- Specify the date range they would like to view
- Select a specific building
Barplot Detailed Description
Bar Plot: The height and colors on the bar plot reflect the total number of users or devices for every day during the past seven days. A darker purple and a taller bar means a higher number of users or devices. A lighter purple and a shorter bar means a lower number of users or devices.
Below are the user inputs that may be selected to customize the visualization. These inputs are similar to the other tabs in the app.
Below is a closer look at the barplot. In this example, the barplot is showing total WiFi Access Point Users every day in Amos Eaton from November 17, 2020 to November 23, 2020.
To go to another tab, the user may select the hyper links at the top left corner of the page or use the sidebar menu to navigate to the other tabs. Inputs selected will remain constant across the other tabs.
