COVID-19 is on the rise in the United States with significant community impact. SafeCampus (SC) is a web-based visualization tool that enables interactive exploration of the number of people on campus, based on the WiFi users. Using data from our WiFi use, SC is an app that allows administration to view the number of people on each campus and in each building. The goal of SafeCampus (SC) is to enable RPI administration to gain actionable insights into how, where, and when there are spikes in various areas in terms of population and potential spread. It is designed to help the administration plan policy, classes, testing, and quarantine as the needs of the school population and dynamics of COVID-19 change.
